O2 Says No More Unlimited Data For iPhone 4

June 12th, 2010

UK mobile phone operator has announced that it will remove unlimited data from all of its smartphone plans, this include the new Apple iPhone 4. From the 24th of June 2010, when O2 starts selling the iPhone 4 it will introduce additional monthly charges for all new customers and existing customers who upgrade to the iPhone 4 and other new smartphone users.

An example of this is that a customer who is paying £35 a month on a two year contract will get 500MB of free data per month, if they go over this allowance, O2 will charge them an extra £5 for every 500MB of data they used.
