The Android-based phone, surprised few days ago as the "Shakira" is the new Xperia X8 and has officially been announced by Sony Ericsson in a press release. The device brings a mid-size and mid specs on the Xperia line and extends "the range of the most entartaining smartphones".

According to folks over at Android Central, the Samsung Galaxy S Pro is a 4G smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and is headed for Sprint.
